Icons Dalla Valle, Tierra Roja, Peter Michael’s Au Paradis and Vine Cliff produce some of the most complex, memorable Cabernets from this hollowed ground. These wines often exhibit an intense red-fruited perfume, dark, supple fruits, crushed rock and brilliant complexity.

Holding this bottle, you can feel it’s special. I love the black on black label and Golden Emblem… It’s Super-Silky Smooth and Rich with Fruit. At under eighty bucks the value is almost inconceivable…

The 2017 checks in at 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and incorporates five separate clones that each contribute layers to the wine’s vast complexity. The winery has an outstanding reputation of excellence, and is one of Napa Valley’s historic wineries that was established in 1871.
