2018 CHÂTEAU DES GARCINIÈRES PROVENCE ROSÉ
Importers Tasting Notes: “St. Tropez lies just around the corner from the birthplace of this wine on 44 acres tended by the Valentin family since 1898. Blessed by the same sun and sea breezes as Tahiti Beach, Cap 21, and the memory if Voile Rouge, it embodies the delicate and romantic taste of 75% Grenache and 25% Cinsault. This biodynamic Rosé is vibrant and fresh; aromas of white peach and passion fruit emerge from the glass with a hint of lavender to remind us of its home by the sea. As with previous vintages, the mouth is filled with delicate raspberry and wild strawberry. The hallmark minerality of the wine is persistent thru the lively finish. Crisp and lovely, the striking acidity makes it a perfect example of why all others try to imitate the Rosés’ of Provence! Feel free to drink it over ice as many do. It pairs perfectly with seafood, chicken, Asian food, Mediterranean meals and any light dish. Soft, sensuous, seductive Rosé.“
