When a new Wine Lover is referred to us, or finds our Wine Shop Online, they’re always surprised by the number of great Pinot Noirs that we feature. My Father-In-Law has been Growing Pinot Noir for over 50 Years Now in Napa Valley and Sonoma. Anytime we taste a Pinot that “Pops” approves, we know it’s good… with over 5 decades of Wine Country Connections stemming from World-Class Viticulture, our roots are DEEP in wine culture as we say in Cali…and we invite you to Enjoy life one sip at a time

Description

Arising from meticulously chosen vineyards located in Bennett Valley, Petaluma Gap and Sonoma Mountain AVAs, this cool-climate Pinot truly has it all. And just like Orrin-Sage, the wine was expertly made by Justin Harmon, who gained valuable experience as an intern under Russell Bevan – Russell crafts 100 Points Wines under his label (BEVAN CELLARS).  The 2017 has stunning clarity, brilliant balance and opens up to vivid red and blue fruits, wild flowers, tea leaf and hints of cocoa.  It’s absolutely one of the best Pinot Noir under fifty, and this 2017 wine shouldn’t be missed.

2017 WIGHTMAN SONOMA COUNTY PINOT NOIR

Winery Notes: “The 2017 Wightman Pinot Noir strikes a beautiful balance between hillside exuberance and valley floor elegance.  Strawberry-rhubarb notes build into black cherry, blood orange and accents of bakers cocoa.  The fruit is framed by the highly present, but suave tannins that mark the vintage, while a bright natural acidity carries the long finish.”
