2016 SINGER CELLARS NAPA VALLEY SINGER CUVEE

$50.00

In many cases, it’s the undiscovered wine brands that can offer some of the absolute greatest value, and when you come across one truly sings, it can feel like you hit the jackpot.  Presenting the Singer Cellars 2016 Cuvee, which was like the fine tuning of an instrument, perfectly harmonized with a medley of crushed red and black fruits, blue violets, exotic spices, crushed rock and cocoa dusted blackberry.  And with the price of Napa Valley fruit rising higher than the north end of a soprano’s range, it’s always music to my ears anytime we come across a great Napa Valley Cabernet Blend in this realistic price category.

The 2016 arose predominately from Napa Valley’s revered Carneros and Oak Knoll AVA’s, and was composed with a crescendo of Cabernet Sauvignon and scaled with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petite Verdot.  The wine was fine tuned for around 20 months in French oak and now this beautifully layered blend reveals abundant intensity, brilliant detail, stunning concentration and a delicate balance that’s rarely achieved this price level. This is a show-stopper and with a total production of only around 60 cases, this one will bring down the house…

2016 SINGER CELLARS NAPA VALLEY SINGER CUVEE

Winery Notes: “In the glass, the wine opens up with lively aromas of dark fruits, ripe berries, allspice and fresh baked toffee. On the palate, the concentrated flavors of ripe plum, black cherry, cassis and black raspberry are enhanced with nuances of chocolate, savory spices, roasted nuts, and a kiss of fine French oak. From the beginning to the end of each sip, it’s a wine that is deep, rich and focused
