Description
I always jokingly say the Laird Family “Owns Napa”, because the Laird Family Estate consists of Thousands upon Thousands of Acres of Vineyards in Napa Valley. The 2016 Laird Red Hen Ranch Chardonnay is Estate Produced and it is easily competes with bottles of Chardonnay in the $45-$60 price range. The Laird’s actually sell fruit to many Top Napa Valley Chardonnay producers that sell bottles for much more…
2016 LAIRD “RED HEN” CHARDONNAY
Winery Notes: “Luscious aromas of freshly baked pastries and ripening pear are met by juicy acidity on the front of the palate, developing into notes of lemon meringue, brioche, and hints of oak spice, with a creamy finish. This wine is easily paired with a variety of dishes from spicy Pad Thai to delicately poached halibut. The Red Hen Ranch is our “home vineyard” where our winery resides, and has long been a favorite of our family. The fruit from this ranch produces a very rich and complex Chardonnay.”
