These four vineyards are highly regarded for producing fruit with notable character, intriguing flavors and compelling qualities. Finding a Pinot from these sites at under $30 is extremely rare. Composed by accomplished winemaker Dan Fitzgerald, who got his start by working at Williams-Selyem, the Matias brand has become one of our most requested in the shop. The 2015 is packed with candied cherry, black raspberry, Santa Rosa plum, red flowers and holiday spices. Don’t be fooled by the low price, this is a superb Pinot Noir that competes with top Pinots at a much higher price.
