2015 KEEVER “INSPIRADO” PROPRIETARY RED NAPA VALLEY

Occasionally, we offer a wine so great that it becomes an object of legend, and Keever Inspirado tops that list…  Appropriately named Inspirado, which translates to Inspired, the wine was carefully constructed by Celia Welch who’s an absolute legend.  You might recognize her artistry from Scarecrow, D.R. Stephens, Barbour, Dalla Valle, Hollywood & Vine … The 2015 Inspirado is stunningly rich and yet finely detailed, opening up with baked blackberries, dried mulberries intermixed with holiday spices, cocoa dusted raspberries and vanilla bean. The long, elegant, expansive finish is a hallmark of this wine, and it’s so compelling that it always leaves me thinking about the wine long after tasting it.  At under $80/btl, this is one of the best red wines in our shop, period.

A blend of nearly 80% Cabernet Sauvignon that’s inspired with additions of Merlot and Malbec, the 2015 Inspirado envelops your taste buds with rich, scrumptious textures that come layered in black raspberries, espresso roast, scorched earth and dried cherry.  Anybody that’s tasted earlier vintages of Inspirado has likely already skipped ahead to the order button.  If you haven’t experienced this one yet, don’t wait…
