RATED 97 POINTS! Tasting Notes:This vibrant wine opens with seductive aromas of ripe berries, mountain herbs, chocolate ganache, and cedar. Description

The English translation for Audacieux is bold, defined by showing an ability to take risks…  If you’ve ever driven over Oakville Grade in Napa Valley, you’ve lived by that definition.  This bold and sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon arose from the Stanford Vineyard, perched at around 1,000 feet elevation off of Oakville Grade, above Harlan Estate.  On the palate, accelerating flavors of crushed black fruits, graphite, cigar box and liquid cedar switchback and forth, becoming more defined around each new curve.  Sommelier to the Stars Christopher Sawyer rated this wine 97 points…

Emerging from a vintage that the Wine Spectator describes that “Rivals 2012, with amazing density and structure,” this scrumptious 2013 Cabernet spends an impressive 24 months in oak.  It’s made in a style that’s that’s a great ride right from the start, and can also go the long haul, evolving in the bottle for years to come.
