Orders and Returns

General Information
CaliHiWines LLC (The Company) on behalf of “Licensed Retailers” or “Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee” product prices do not include shipping, handling, insurance, foreign duties or sales tax (where applicable). Licensed Retailer’s products are packed in well insulated Styrofoam Shippers. Correct Street addresses and phone numbers are required for all shipments. In the United States, an adult over the age of 21 must be present to sign for the shipment. We cannot deliver to Post Office boxes.

We will email you a copy of your order within 24 hours of being processed from the Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee Fulfillment warehouse(s) in California, Licensed Retailer or Seller.

Sale of Alcohol Beverages – “Licensed Retailers” or “Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee”
The Company’s role in the transactions contemplated by these Terms & Conditions is that of a service provider that enables you, the consumer, to purchase wine and related products from those retailers holding valid licenses issued by state alcohol beverage agencies allowing for the legal sale of wine (the “Licensed Retailers”) and to participate in the services and/or any other product offers offered on the Company Sites. You acknowledge that all orders of wine and related products you place through the use of the Company Sites are processed and fulfilled by such Licensed Retailers, as the actual sellers of wine, and not by the Company. Any wine you purchase through the use of the Company Sites from the Licensed Retailers must be for personal consumption only and not for resale.

Domestic Shipping 
CaliHiWines LLC on behalf of our Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee Fulfillment warehouse(s) ships primarily UPS and Fedex Ground, along with GSO for California shipments. Estimated delivery time is 3 to 10 business days depending upon the distance from the California warehouse.

Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee Fulfillment warehouse(s) offer Next Day and 2-Day Air options for most shipments (Alaska and Hawaii are 2-Day Air only. In order to avoid having wine sit in the carrier’s warehouse over the weekend, we normally don’t ship on Thursday/Friday for 2-Day or Friday for Next Day. If you want your order to go out on those days, please let us know in the Special Instructions box.

Shipping costs vary widely based on the number of bottles shipped, the distance from our Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee Fulfillment warehouse(s) in California, to the destination zip, and the type of service selected. It is most economical to ship 6, 12 or 15 bottles at a time.

International Shipping
CaliHiWines LLC on behalf of Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee ships international packages via FedEx. Please note that our shipping cost includes a protective shipping box, insurance and carrier charges to the destination. It does not include any taxes or duties that may be assessed by and payable to the local authorities at the destination or any additional fees that may be charged by FedEx for the administration of taxes and duties.


CaliHiWines LLC on behalf of Licensed Retailers Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee allows products to be returned, only if the product is defective. Returns of alcohol products are for store credit only. There is no cash, check or credit card refunds for alcohol under any circumstances.

By law, Licensed Retailers are only allowed to accept returns of goods that were purchased in error. Additionally, because of the fees charged by your credit card company when Licensed Retailers charge and subsequently credit your card, they may enforce the collection of a restocking fee, a percent of the order total.

Once your order is confirmed, it is sent to affiliated fulfillment center warehouse for processing. If you cancel your order after it has been sent to our affiliated fulfillment center or Licensed Retailer, a 25% restocking fee will be applied before a refund is issued. Please send an email to calihiwines@gmail.com if you need to cancel your order, with order number in subject. Once the Cancelled Order has been received/verified at our affiliated fulfillment warehouse, we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less handling, packaging, and the 25% restocking fee. If a refund is a transgression in your state of residence or per the affiliate, a “credit” will then be available on your account accordingly to be used towards a future order.

CaliHiWines guarantees quality products and service on behalf of our Licensed Retailers Affiliated Alcoholic Licensee. Your satisfaction is our first priority. We will replace or refund your cost for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. Wines purchased through retailers must be returned to them. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement, or The Original Cork must be returned for laboratory analysis. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the products are corked or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Weather damage may include leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. Please be sure to check shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order.

If the original shipment was flawed, you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges, or you will receive a full replacement order.

Federal law requires a signature be obtained from an individual over the age of 21 for all wine shipments. Notes with a signature, left for the delivery companies, cannot be accepted as a replacement for an individual signing for the shipment. We recommend that orders be shipped to a business address for prompt delivery. We cannot guarantee the condition of any wine if delivery is not made on the first delivery attempt. Orders that are not delivered on the initial attempt may be held in a facility that is not temperature controlled.
